Lauren Scott

     about
LAUREN SCOTT is an experienced solo, chamber and orchestral musician based in the North West. She has played the harp in all sorts of situations, from Guest Principal harp with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms, to a radio broadcast on HMS Illustrious, to accompanying a snake charmer and his 18 foot python. Variety most definitely being the spice of life!

She is also the managing director and driving force behind the successful music publishing company Astute Music. Lauren recently set up the Sandbach Concert Series, a not for profit organisation which puts on 8 concerts a season combining professional musicians with local young musicians, an art exhibition and raises money for local good causes.

Lauren is married to the composer Andy Scott and they have 2 teenage children.

Not being previously (or ever!) known for their athletic prowess, Lauren & Andy have recently been bitten by the running bug after completing their first 5k race in September whilst raising funds for MacMillan and have their sights set on completing a 10k race next year.
