Inspired by Christina Rossetti’s poem “Clouds,” this serene and atmospheric piece evokes drifting cloud forms through subtle jazzy diatonic harmonies and a flowing, unbroken structure across four sections: Cumulus, Stratocumulus, Altocumulus, and Cirrostratus.Written in 2021 during Lauren's composer residency with Harps North West, it features a range of extended techniques to create an evocative contemporary soundscape.Advanced level for two matching harps (lever or pedal).
